Its headquarters is in London, United Kingdom. It presently has over 4 million members worldwide.<\/p>\n The Mothers’ Union, Diocese of Accra was established by the Sisters of the Holy Paraclete (+OHP) in October 1939.<\/p>\n In the early days, it consisted of only women who were married in church as this was a prerequisite at the time. This has evolved over the years and the Union is now open to all women It has a membership of approximately 500 women in twenty-three (23) Parishes (branches).
